#4 Eden Gardens, Kolkata
Prevalently known as the Indian ‘Mecca of Cricket’, Eden Gardens is the most notable cricket arena in India. Set up in 1864, the Eden Gardens has seen probably the most astounding happenings in the game, both great and awful. The climate can never look stifled when the energetic Bengali fans take the inside stage. The matches held here haven’t been lacking in dramatisation, either. The despicable articulation of disappointment during the 1996 World Cup’s semi-last is one such case of what it could be at the Edens when the fans don’t care for what they see.
